WE WILL MISS YOU, CLASS OF 2022!!!

Choir Senior Awards Concert - May 11, 2022 from Hudson Community Television on Vimeo.

On Wednesday May 11th, we had our final choir concert of the year where we celebrated our seniors and all they've accomplished in their time at HHS.

It was a bittersweet concert, but we're so proud of our seniors and cannot wait to witness all of their successes in the future.

Class of 2022: Thank you for everything!!  Remember that the HHS Choir room will always be a safe space for you.  Keep music a part of your life, and make sure to come visit!!

The Hudson High School Vocal Program is one that prides itself on the foundation of a proper music education for each individual student.  With five choirs available for students to join, the program takes the proper steps in ensuring that each student betters their own personal musicianship each moment that they are involved in the program.  The choirs that are offered are as follows:

Men's Choir
Concert Choir
Women's Choir
Chamber Choir
Vocal Impact

These groups are comprised of students from grades 9-12.  Students represent the entire spectrum of hard workers.  Students in the choir program regularly take Advanced Placements courses, are heavily involved in community service, participate in many different aspects of the school, including, but not limited to, marching band, orchestra, varsity and junior varsity sports, various clubs and activities around the school, as well as holding down a part time job.

All are welcome to join the Hudson High School Choir Program, and it is our wish as a program that we continue to grow each and every year, attracting those students who wish to make music with their voice!

  • Hudson High School continues to rank among the top public high schools in our region, state and beyond. Outstanding performances and accomplishments in music, art and athletics complement our number one mission: academic achievement! For example, take a look at our Class of 2019 Commencement highlights:
  • A record 187 graduates are wearing gold tassels as members of National Honor Society, representing the high ideals of Scholarship, Service, Leadership & Character
  • 210 seniors, more than half the class of 387, have earned the State of Ohio Honors Diploma, in recognition of a rigorous academic record with very high standards of scholarship
  • We have a record total of 222 seniors who will graduate “with honors” under our Cum Laude recognition system, signifying a final, cumulative grade point average of an A- or higher:
  • Hudson High is one of only a handful of schools in northeast Ohio to sponsor a chapter of the Drug Free Clubs of America. Led by this dynamic senior, Hudson’s DFCA enrollment exceeded 750 in just our second year of existence—the largest chapter in the nation—Katherine Roegner
  • Members of the Drama club shared their creative talents on stage, in the pit and behind the scenes in plays and musicals, the most recent being an award-winning production of Phantom of the Opera. Our student pit orchestra was nominated and recognized at last Saturday’s Dazzle Awards at Playhouse Square. Also recognized at the Dazzle Awards program is a young man who has left his mark on the stage of Hudson High School as one of the finest performers ever—Karsen Guldan as the Phantom
  • Many drama seniors participated in “Our Time to Shine,” a drama-related activity where peer mentors are paired with special needs students to perform on stage
  • We wrap our senior superlatives up with this testament to the overall well-roundedness of the class of 2019; collectively, these graduates will benefit from $276,000 awarded by local organizations in the Hudson community—much of which was distributed at Awards Night.
  • The total scholarships and grants accepted for the Class of 2019 is just shy of 9.9 million dollars
